I know first-hand what it feels like to overcome the physical, emotional, and psychological stresses of undergoing anesthesia and surgery as a child. A physician’s technical skills and knowledge are essential for providing optimal patient care, but the humanity element is also important. My foremost ambition is to become that advocate and calming presence for children who have the same frightened, uncertain feelings as I did when I presented for my own surgery, and to help them and their families get through such an extraordinary phase in their life.
I am interested in initiatives focused on patient wellness that revolve around educating children and their families on anesthesia and surgery. The goal of this is to facilitate an easier transition as these patients prepare for their surgeries. I am also interested in the mentoring and education of residents and fellows who train at Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Doctors at Memorial Sloan Kettering work as teams, with specialists from all different areas. This allows us to consider all your needs together, and to give you the best possible care.
Memorial Sloan Kettering's doctors and scientists are constantly developing new treatments for cancer. MSK is typically running hundreds of clinical trials at a given time.
You may be able to participate in a clinical trial even if you are new to MSK. Search our online directory to find trial information and see more about who can participate.
Doctors and faculty members often work with pharmaceutical, device, biotechnology, and life sciences companies, and other organizations outside of MSK, to find safe and effective cancer treatments, to improve patient care, and to educate the health care community.
MSK requires doctors and faculty members to report (“disclose”) the relationships and financial interests they have with external entities. As a commitment to transparency with our community, we make that information available to the public.
